A family run business furnishing the needs of the local community & surrounding districts, through five generations. Although our presence here on these premises date back to 1925 the earlier generations had their background firmly steeped in the construction & civil engineering industry. The company in those days carried out a wide variety of contracts from small extensions to major civil engineering undertakings, with a new joinery workshop & saw mill built on this site in 1947, this helped the company to grow with it’s building & civil engineering works.

The joinery workshop also undertook work for other local building companies supplying them with their needs. Through out the years PINE FURNITURE would be made for local people as one offs to their specifications, with no thoughts then of a potential market for this type of furniture. It was perceived as a cost effective piece of furniture with a lasting quality.

The site was further developed in 1961 & 1979 adding to the joinery workshop capacity. As our site developed, the company changed, building & civil engineering was no longer on the curriculum. The joinery workshop with its specialist capacity was now the main function & again in 1999 we evolved further to the present day. However when you visit our shop it will be those very same joinery workshops, which are, now decorated showrooms & we believe the ideal ambience for displaying quality pine furniture for your perusal.

Reading the forgoing it can be seen some change has taken place over the years but one thing has not changed, passed on through the generations.
